The interviews were featuring one, or more, Slovene artists visiting New York, mainly those who are awarded residency in NYC by the Slovene Ministry of Culture. Slovenia maintains four artist’s apartments in the U.S. and Europe: Brooklyn, NY, London, Berlin & Vienna. The competition is fierce, and only the most outstanding contemporary Slovene artists are granted one month of rent-free residency. Short versions of the interviews are published in the Newsletter of the Slovene Embassy in Washington, D.C., and the long versions are available here.
